If you want an all-in-one option then choose a pair of training shoes for walking instead. They are heavier, but it’ll be less noticeable without the intensity of running. This is especially so if you’re walking (or running) on a treadmill – those tend to already have some cushioning so it’ll be easier on your legs without the support of a running shoe.
